Ki Gompa is built in the Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, about 12 km from Kaza. The monastery was established in the 13th century. It is believed that this is the largest monastery of Spiti Valley. This monastery located in Leh looks exactly like the math, its height is 13500 feet and this monastery is built on the rocks in a conical shape. It was made by Ringchen Sangpo.

It remained safe even in the earthquake of 1975 AD and was affected by the invasion of 19th century Sikhs and Dogra kings. Some ancient manuscripts and some weapons have been kept in this monastery.

Cham Utsav is celebrated every year in the month of June-July. In the year 2000, the Dalai Lama performed the Kalachakra Abhisheka at the Smee Monastery.

Key Monastery is the main tourist destination for the tourists, which is world famous for its natural beauty, spirituality, soulful peace.
