Chandertal Lake is situated at an altitude of 4250 meters, which is the most attractive lake in Himachal Pradesh. This lake is located in the Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The size of this lake meets the half moon, hence the name of this lake is Chandertal Lake. The water of the lake looks blue when viewed from a distance and shines like a mirror when approached.

The beauty of this lake of God Bhoomi is made on seeing and this lake is visited by tourists from all over the world. This lake is very famous for nature lovers and people who are fond of adventure.

The natural beauty of this place is made on sight. This kaza is considered an integral part of wildlife. There are green meadows around it, in which there are several hundred varieties of flowers. Here shepherds from Kangra and Kullu come to graze their sheep. If the time is right, you can find Blue Sheep, Himalayan Ibex, Red Fox, Chough, Golden Eagle, Kestril, Black Ring Stilt, Square, Snowcock and Snowleopard drinking water in the shores of this lake. There is a lack of oxygen on this lake.

Camping site is also available here which is like a lifeline for the tourists. Kullu Manali Bhuntar Airport is the nearest air service place here.
